OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Innovation is a hallmark of successful businesses of all shapes and sizes. Changing with the times and evolving to satisfy consumer demands is a necessity – especially in competitive industries.
So, marking 45 years in business is a milestone worth celebrating.

That’s what DeLuca Toyota is doing this month. The Ocala automotive dealer was founded in October 1978 by Frank DeLuca.
The dealership started as a modest two-car showroom in Ocala. “It looked like the middle of the woods with oak trees all over. It was a two-lane highway, you could park on the side of the road, and it was just totally different,” DeLuca said reflecting on the early days.
These days, thousands of cars whiz by the sprawling 24-acre facility in the highly traveled location at 1719 SW College Rd.
In 45 years, the dealer has witnessed remarkable growth now employing more than 180 professionals ranging from auto technicians in a state-of-the-art 51-bay service center and on-site collision center to skilled sales associates in a showroom that caters to busy customers’ needs. Gone are the days of sitting in a waiting room flipping through a magazine as you wait for your car to be serviced. At DeLuca’s dealership while you’re waiting for a tune-up, you can get your hair done and a manicure at the dealer’s onsite salon or practice your short game on a rooftop putting green.
“We have served three generations of families since 1978,” said DeLuca. “The DeLuca difference means treating everyone as an honored guest in our home; you’ll notice that difference the moment you walk through our doors.”

DeLuca Toyota reinvests in the local community, contributing over $11 million to various community causes; including the Frank DeLuca YMCA. The DeLuca Y was the site of a free Halloween trunk or treat event earlier this month.
This past weekend, DeLuca sponsored the student artwork exhibit at the Ocala Arts Festival.
“Giving back to the community is not only a privilege but a responsibility,” said DeLuca. “When you look beyond yourself to meet someone else’s needs, that’s where philanthropy starts. Giving back not only feels good but is the right thing to do.”
Brent Sergot, President of Southeast Toyota Distributors, LLC, visited Ocala last week to congratulate DeLuca on reaching the anniversary. “Frank is a perfect representation of the Toyota brand,” said Sergot. “He takes care of his customers, gives back to his community, and has been a fantastic dealer for the last 45 years. We are proud that he represents the Toyota brand in Ocala, Florida.”

In a news release, DeLuca said they look forward to continuing their legacy of excellence, customer-focused service, and community support for many years to come.
