OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Marion County Youth Football League will host its eighth Annual Food Drive on Oct. 12 from 8 a.m.–7 p.m. at the Marion County Youth Football League Recreation Center at 2200 SE 36th Ave., Ocala, FL 34470.

This year, they aim to collect as many non-perishable food items as possible for Interfaith Emergency Services, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing basic necessities to those in need in Marion County. Donations include canned items, pasta, cereal, peanut butter, seasonings and more.

All donation items will be taken at the ticket booth to be counted. Donations are collected separately for the football team and cheerleading squad in a friendly competition. The team or squad to collect the most donations wins a pizza party with the league president.
