OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Families, music fans, and craft beer lovers packed downtown Ocala for the 11th annual Brick City Beer and Wine Festival. With sunshine, good food, root beer floats, a photo booth, and plenty of local flavor, the event offered something for everyone, from toddlers to grandparents.

More than just a fun afternoon, the festival raised money for three local nonprofits: Interfaith Emergency Services, Kimberly’s Center for Child Protection, and the Marion County Literacy Council.

Whether it’s helping families in crisis, supporting children who’ve experienced trauma, or teaching adults how to read, these organizations are doing life-changing work right here in our community.

One of the biggest hits of the day was the Wind-FM Battle of the Bands. The crowd danced and cheered as local bands rocked the stage, and in the end, Southern Society took home the top prize. Gabriel and the Getout Band came in second, and XpeakerBox claimed third place.
