The transition marks the latest move by Gettel Automotive, a company that owns over 20 dealerships across Florida and Georgia, as they take over operations in Ocala.
According to responses posted on the dealership’s Facebook page, Gettel Automotive confirmed that the change was prompted by Frank DeLuca’s decision to retire. “Gettel Automotive will be picking up where he left off,” the company said in a response to customer inquiries.
In a comment on social media, Gettel Automotive expressed excitement about their new role in Ocala, emphasizing their dedication to the local community. “We are making every effort to retain as many team members as possible and ensure a smooth experience for both employees and customers,” they stated.
Gettel Automotive, which boasts a network of over 20 dealerships, including brands like Toyota, Porsche, and BMW, already owns several other dealerships in the Ocala area. These include Porsche of Ocala, Volkswagen of Ocala, and BMW of Ocala, as well as Gatorland Toyota and BMW of Gainesville.
