OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The College of Central Florida (CF) announced Wednesday that it was named one of the top online colleges in the nation. CF along with more than two dozen other schools in the Sunshine State made the list.
According to the press release, it was recognized as one of ‘America’s Top Online Colleges 2024’ by Statista which collaborated with Newsweek to unveil the list.
“The title serves to reinforce CF’s standing as an online college that provides great value and excellent opportunities to its students on a national level,” stated CF in the release.
College officials say the ranking highlighted 200 institutions that are among the top colleges in the nation. They say the ranking was based on “institutional indicators” and “student feedback.” Nine thousand students took a survey about their online college experience, said the press release.
Participants were asked about their satisfaction level with the organization where they earned their online degree, which includes programs for hybrid students. They were also asked whether they would recommend it to others.
According to Newsweek, this is the third year it has collaborated with Statista to recognize ‘America’s Top Online Colleges and America’s Top Online Learning Providers 2024.’
CF was ranked 51 out of the 200 colleges listed. Twety-six other Florida schools made the list including the University of Florida which ranked 29th and the University of Central Florida ranked 106. To view the entire list of colleges that made the list, click here.
