OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Students attending the College of Central Florida this fall will continue to pay the same tuition rates as last year after the CF District Board of Trustees approved a budget with no tuition increase for the 2026-27 academic year.
The board approved the college’s annual budget during its meeting on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, keeping tuition flat for all degree and certificate programs in line with the state’s priority of maintaining affordable higher education.
“Three-quarters of College of Central Florida graduates leave the college with no student debt,” CF President Dr. Jim Henningsen said. “Keeping college affordable is a priority at CF, and our students graduate with jobs, not debt.”
According to the college, CF continues to rank among the top 7 percent among the most affordable colleges in the nation, based on U.S. Department of Education data. Associate-level tuition will remain $112.92 per credit hour, or about $2,710 annually for a student taking 12 credit hours over two semesters. Bachelor’s-level courses will continue to cost $129.27 per credit hour, or approximately $3,102.48 annually for the same course load.
College officials said CF’s tuition is about half the cost of attending a public university in Florida and roughly 13 percent of the cost of a private university in the state.
The College of Central Florida serves students across Marion, Citrus and Levy counties through its Ocala Campus, Wilton Simpson Citrus Campus and Jack Wilkinson Levy Campus, as well as online.
