OCALA. FL (352today.com) – Marion County Public Schools (MCPS) has announced the next round of its family-oriented FOCUS sessions.
Family FOCUS (Families need Ongoing Communication, Useful resources, and Support) events are here to help parents and students succeed together, both in and out of school. These sessions offer support, resources, and communication to families in Marion County Public Schools.
Mark your calendars for these upcoming Family FOCUS events:
- “We Are Better Together” on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, at Horizon Academy from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- “Fall Festival of Learning” on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024, at Liberty Middle School from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- “Together Towards Tomorrow” on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, at Howard Middle School from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- “Catch the Summer Wave” on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Belleview Middle School from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
These events will have free childcare, community resources, entertainment, and giveaways. Every child will get free books to take home, too!
Parents and families can sign up for the event at the MCPS website or through their child’s school.
