The Ocala Pet Palooza is coming to the World Equestrian Center in Ocala for a Pet Extravaganza like no other. The doors will open to everyone, pets included, for a “paw”-some fun weekend from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 3rd and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 4th at the World Equestrian Center – Expo Center 2, located at 1598 NW 87th Court Rd. Ocala, FL 34482.
This family-friendly, pet-friendly event will host various attractions such as a Pet Costume Contest, Best Trick Contest, Up Close Animal Encounters including holding a live American Alligator, K-9 Demonstrations, a Dog Lure Course, vendors for both pets and people and so much more. Have you ever wanted to meet a Kinkajou? Or have your picture taken with Lilly the Unicorn? At the Ocala Pet Palooza, you will have the opportunity to do it all.
If you’re looking for a furry friend to join your family, the Ocala Pet Palooza is the place for you. Animal adoptions will be available all weekend through the Human Society of Marion County, Marion County Animal Services, No Paws Left Behind, Quality of Life Rehab & Foster, Sumpter County Animal Services, and VOCAL. Volunteers from these local non-profit agencies will be on-site with cats and dogs all weekend to help them find their forever home. Adopt your forever friend at the Ocala Pet Palooza.
While there, check out the Pet Parades, or stop by and watch some of the Educational Sessions happening all weekend long. But, of course, you will not want to miss the therapy rabbits in the Rabbit Agility Course, courtesy of Hearts Healing Hearts, Inc. There will be products on-site for animals of all types and sizes, including dogs, cats, birds, horses, reptiles, and more. Well-behaved, leashed, vaccinated pets are welcome to join their owners during this jam-packed weekend.
