• IHOP National Pancake Day will take place on Tuesday, February 25, 2020
For one day only, IHOP restaurants across the nation will give away FREE short stacks of its world-famous buttermilk pancakes from 7am-7pm with some markets extending hours until 10 pm (one offer per guest)
o In return, guests are asked to leave a donation of any amount on-check or in-restaurant through collection boxes. All money will go to the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
• Guests can further support their local children’s hospital during the 60-day campaign by:
-Purchasing a wall icon now through NPD to show support. Guests who buy a $5 wall icon will receive a $5 coupon good for a future purchase. IHOP team members are selling $1, $5 and $100 icon CMN Balloons. 100% stays local and goes direct to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital
-Making an on-check donation of any amount at IHOP restaurants nationwide .
• The fundraising goal for the 2020 IHOP National Pancake Day is $4 million
• IHOP anticipates serving a record-breaking 5 million pancakes on IHOP Free Pancake Day
• The money raised on IHOP National Pancake Day stays local and 100% of what is raised will go to the local CMN Hospital
• Each year, Children Miracle Network Hospitals treat 17 million children who are facing life-threatening and debilitating illnesses and disabilities, from cancer to asthma.
• In 2019, IHOP, its franchisees and guests raised $3.5 million for IHOP Free Pancake Day charity partners and served 3 million pancakes in a single day
• To-date, IHOP has raised more than $33 million for its charity partners since creating National Pancake Day in 2006.
