Clan Kringle Scottish Highland Games

The Scotts are descending on Ocala for a day of competition and merriment, all for a good cause! Come watch as The Foundation for Scottish Athletics sponsors competition events like weight over bar and weight for distance (it’s pretty heavy), sheaf toss (not sheep), hammer throwing (that can’t be safe), and the ever-popular caber toss (caber=tree; Yes, they throw trees). The beneficiary, Marion Therapeutic Riding Association provides equine therapy to people with mental and physical challenges including children and veterans. Not only do ALL proceeds go to MTRA, but many of their clients will be the guests of honor enjoying a fun holiday event! They are asking for $10 per adult donation- KIDS FREE. There will be a food truck on site. Well-behaved pets on leashes are welcomed.
